Welcome back. Our theme this term is 'Journeys and Explorations'.

Our key Class texts are: Cave Baby by Jukai Donaldson and Emily Gravett and Sidney, Stella and the Moon  by Emma Yarlett

PE is on Monday. They will bring their PE kit home every Friday. Please make sure your child brings it back every Monday. We will be focusing on co-ordination and balance, as well as completing simple tasks independently.

Homework: Spellings will be set on Spelling Shed every Friday. Home learning will be set on Friday and will be available to you via ClassDojo. If you are unable to access this, please let us know, and we will look at alternative ways of getting your child’s home learning to you. Home learning does not have to be brought back into school, but photos/comments are welcome by ClassDojo.

The children have Forest Schools on Friday. They should come to school in their Forest school clothes and also wear long trousers. 

Please hear your child read daily - this is the best way you can support your child's learning. We aim for all our children to become life-long readers who read for pleasure.
