Welcome to Year 5
Welcome back. This term's theme is: Ambition and Desire.
Monday afternoon is our Forest School time – this will start on the 14th September. Children should wear their Forest School clothes into school on this day – normal shoes to be worn into school and wellies/other shoes brought in a carrier bag!
Homework:. Set work for Spelling Shed and Mathletlics will be online. Ensure your child reads every day for a minimum of 20 minutes (don’t forget to write in their reading record) please bring this to school each day. Class dojos will be used this year, so please sign up if you have not already.
PE will be on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. A full-labelled PE kit is required in school every Monday and taken home every Friday to be washed.
Please rest assured that we will do everything that we can to support your children in their return to school. Our number one priority will always be their happiness and wellbeing.
